Outside your room you can enjoy many possibilities of leisure and engagement. Padua, religious destination
famous for the S. Anthony Basilica, is very charming for its strong dynamism and its beautiful attractions: don’t miss the Scrovegni Chapel, frescoed by Giotto, the old university Botanical Garden, the Loggia and the Odeo Cornaro – among the highest evidences of the Renaissance in Padua – and Prato della Valle, where it’s possible to visit the Santa Giustina Abbey, and take the free shuttle to the S. Anthony Basilica.
In Padua there is always a lot going on, the Kioene Arena hosts sport events and concerts, the Exhibition Center hosts interesting fairs; from Casa Valentini Terrani you can also reach, by bus, the Industrial Zone and the Commercial Area, where you can go shopping among the most renowned Italian and international chains.
Moreover, at the A4 highway Padova Est exit, IKEA is waiting for you! At the end of your shopping tours, we recommend some relax with an aperitivo in one of the squares in the city center.
For a trip out of town, you can relax in Montegrotto and Abano Terme, easily reachable by train or even by bicycle, through the new well-lighted path along the Battaglia river, or you can take an excursion in the nature, tasting local food and wines in Asiago or on the Euganean Hills. You can also visit the medieval town Montagnana or enjoy the peaceful Praglia Abbey in Teolo.
From Padua, in just 20 minutes by car or 35 by train, you can get to the bridges and calle of beautiful Venice, an unforgettable timeless place.
